Citrine is on a mission to serve up healthy salads with gourmet recipes; packed with locally-sourced island flavours and superfoods. Citrine is a labor of love, created by three friends with a deep appreciation for Barbados and the nutritional splendor that can be found locally on the island.

Team and Story
The Team
Ivana is a professional chef, certified nutritionist, personal trainer and certified Pilates instructor. Previously the front of house at The Dorchester in London Ivana knows the importance of customer service and satisfaction. Ivana has been delivering fresh delicious and nutritious food to the people of Barbados from her home while raising two beautiful twin daughters. Maintaining high standards on every level is key to Ivana’s mission.
Peter is a internationally renowned chef whose career was made at luxury brands like The Dorchester Hotel in London and Sandy Lane on Barbados, he is presently the executive chef at Nishi. Peter is a master chef that has helped us create our signature gourmet salads.
Cheryl, a serial entrepreneur, has had experienced great success in her professional lives, including producing out-of-the-box high profile events for celebrities like Sir Richard Branson. Cheryl has worked with the best chefs and caterers in Canada always creating perfection and culinary adventures to please any crowd. Cheryl is now a certified life coach and hosts talk shows also facilitates H.E.R Retreats and workshops.
The Story
One fateful night after an intimate dinner party, (and a couple of vodkas) these three friends came together with one delicious idea: to join forces and bring Citrine gourmet salads to life; sharing a love of food and healthy meals with the island of Barbados. Citrine opened its doors in November, honoring the strength and power of the Citrine birthstone and our desire to spread its energy with you.
Every Citrine gourmet salad is prepared to order using the finest ingredients with our menu offering the health benefits of each delicious recipe.
Citrine is located at the historic Bagatelle Great House with satellite pick-up locations throughout the island. Centrally located, Citrine is convenient for both locals and tourists alike with delivery to your home, office, beach, and boat available.
